RMA Group - Browser Settings

In order to access the system properly without any errors or interruption of service. You are strongly advised to configure the settings of your browser according to the instructions listed below. Firstly you need to find out the browser and version you're currently using. Usually it can be identified by going into the "Help" function and click on the "About" option. Then identify your browser from the list and follow the instruction based on your browser type.
 
Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.x
On top of the browser, there is an option call Tools and when clicked, a drag down with additional options like Windows Update, Mail and News, Internet Options, etc. Click on Internet Options.

Click on Security and make sure the Web content zone Internet is selected. By default, Internet Explorer will have Java, Javascript and Cookies already enabled. Therefore, you can click on Default Level or select level of the zone to Medium

If your level of the zone is of Custom Level, then click on Custom Level. Scroll all the way down and ensure all the following settings are configured:

  • Miscellaneous - Allow META Refresh: Enabled
  • Scripting - Active Scripting: Enabled
  • Scripting - Scripting of Java applets: Enabled
To activate cookies setting for Custom Level, scroll up and search for a heading of Cookies. Make sure the option is at Enable or Prompt for both sub-headings of Enable cookies that are stored on your ocmputer and Enable per-session cookies (not stored).

After you are done with the settings. Remember to reload/refresh the website to continue your surfing experience with RMA Group.

 
Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.x

You are advised to disable pop-up blocker by unchecking the checkbox in Turn on Pop-up Blocker under the Internet Options and Privacy tab. However if you require pop-up blocker feature, you may add our website into the list of allowed websites for pop-up. To do so, please go to Internet Options, Privacy tab, ensure that Turn on Pop-up Blocker is checked. Then click on Settings. Under the Address of website to allow, enter "portalrma.rmagroup.com.sg" and click Add.

After you are done with the settings. Remember to reload/refresh the website to continue your surfing experience with RMA Group.

Click on the Sites button and verify that RMA Group website is not blocked. Then under the Privacy tab, click on Advanced, ensure that the checkbox Override automatic cookie handling is unchecked.

Netscape Communicator/Navigator 4.x
On the top left hand corner of the browser, there is an option call Edit. Click on it. Scroll down the options to Preferences. This is the Preferences option menu of Netscape. Inside this menu, you can customise how your browser should function like Mail accounts settings, Appearance, Composer, etc.

There should be an option call Advanced. Click on the option or expand the option depending on the version of Netscape you are using.

There should be a few settings here like Enable Java, Enable Javascript, etc with checkbox beside them. Look for the setting Enable Java and Enable Javascript, make sure the checkbox beside them are checked with a tick sign.

For Cookies settings, under Advanced option, there should be a setting call Cookies. Ensure that the setting Accept All Cookies or Enable All Cookies is selected. Or if you prefer your cookies to be sent back to the website that issues it only, select Accept only cookies that get sent back to originating server or Enable cookies for the originating web sites only.

After you are done with the settings. Remember to reload/refresh the website to continue your surfing experience with RMA Group.

 
Netscape 7.x
At the top left corner of the browser, click on Edit and select Preferences.

Expand the Privacy & Security option and select Cookies. Ensure that your browser cookies setting is either "Enable all cookies", "Enable cookies based on privacy settings" (set at medium level) or "Enable cookies for the originating web sites only".

Next, expand the Advanced option and select Scripts and Plugins. Check that the checkbox that indicates enable JavaScript for Navigator is checked.

After you are done with the settings. Remember to reload/refresh the website to continue your surfing experience with RMA Group.

 
Mozilla Firefox 2.0.0.x
At the top left corner of the browser, click on Tools and then Options.

Click on Content and ensure that the checkboxes for Enable Javascript and Enable Java are checked.

Next, click on Privacy. Ensure that the checkbox for Accept cookies from site is checked. Then click on the Exceptions button and verify that RMA Group website is not blocked.

After you are done with the settings. Remember to reload/refresh the website to continue your surfing experience with RMA Group.

 
Apple Safari 3.0.x
At the top left corner of the browser, click on Edit and then Preferences.

Click on Security and ensure that the checkboxes for Web Content's Enable Java and Enable JavaScript are checked.

Then, under the section Accept Cookies, please verify that the radio button is either at Always or Only at sites you navigate to.

After you are done with the settings. Remember to reload/refresh the website to continue your surfing experience with RMA Group.
